Anna Gibson Hawkins
has been dancing since the age of three. She trained for 16 years at Beverly Rogers Academy of Dance in Paducah, KY where she performed and competed with the competitive team for 11 years winning national titles in groups, duos/trios, and solos. She attended Oklahoma City University for three semesters where she was a member of The American Spirit Dance Company. She performed in their "Home for the Holidays" show, two student choreography shows and their annual spring performance. She is now attending the University of Kentucky as a Kinesiology maor and plans to pursue a doctorate in Physical Therapy. At UK, she was accepted as a new member of The UK Dance Ensemble in 2012. She has worked as a guest choreographer for Beverly Rogers Academy of Dance as well as Center Stage in Paducah, Ky. She is so honored to be dancing with the incredible women of Movement Continuum. She looks forward to expressing herself through her dance and sharing her love of dance with the community.
