Artistic Director & Director of Choreography
Kate Hadfield began her training as a dancer at the Beverly Rogers Academy of Dance in Paducah, Kentucky at the age of four, where she studied Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, and Pointe. She was accepted into the nationally winning competition team and by 14, Hadfield was teaching technique classes and choreographing. Upon her acceptance to the University of Kentucky, she became a member of the UK Dance Ensemble. During her eight semesters in Ensemble, Hadfield created nine pieces of choreography, two of which were awarded the Mary King Montgomery Kouns Choreography Award. Hadfield has created choreography for performing arts schools, private competition studios, college, concert dance, and her own professional dance company; through this work, Kate has been awarded twenty- three choreography awards. After accepting a position as an instructor and choreographer in South Florida for one year, Hadfield is making her way back to Kentucky to continue her work with dancers of all ages through her instruction, choreography, judging young dancers at competitions, community outreach, and producing movement continuum’s concerts and productions.
